17-Day Pamir Plateau Motorcycle Trip

One of my most memorable motorcycle journeys was a 17-day route through the Pamir plateau, including remote mountain roads and the 4,655-metre Ak-Baital Pass. Trips like this are a mix of freedom and discipline: route planning, weather, altitude, mechanical self-reliance and long stretches where the landscape is much bigger than anything else around you.
